We are a certified organic family run market garden on the edge of Gilwern in the Clydach Gorge. We provide fresh, seasonal veg boxes to the local area through our Community Supported Agriculture approach.

It has grown from a single sack of potatoes! Gifted to us by a neighbour on the request that we grow them for the community during the start of the pandemic.
Tir Awen is our response to the concerns we have for the health of planet earth. It is an exploration of how we can live in balance with nature whilst producing food that nourishes both body and mind. We invite you, our local community to walk this journey with us
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one of the most radical ways that we can re-take control of our food system. CSA's vary in their specifics but at the heart of the movement is the desire to reconnect community with the food they eat while supporting the people who grow it. Essentially this means as growers we can plan, plant, grow and harvest what we need to fill our weekly boxes with fresh local and seasonal veg safe in the knowledge it will be sold and eaten.
At Tir Awen we always use regenerative practices promoting soil health by taking a no dig approach which is entirely chemical & pesticide free. We keep waste to an absolute minimum providing a re-usable box and only using packaging when absolutely necessary to ensure an item arrives to you as fresh as it left the garden. Boxes are delivered in a zero emission, electric van. Our decision to reach an optimum of 50 customers is based on our commitment to grow food sustainably. This will enable plenty of space for nature and improve the diversity of wildlife on the site.
We deliver weekly boxes directly to your door with freshly harvested veg.
You won’t find us on social media but you will find us in the garden! This is an intentional decision to simplify and place more time, trust and value on the connections made in person.
