Zoe is featured in a new documentary that highlights the challenges that face many women attempting to make agroecological farming their livelihood. The film – the land that holds us – is available to stream online and will be screened at festivals and events.
Whilst it draws attention to the challenges they have faced in relation to building a livelihood on the land, it also portrays the deep sense of place, purpose, and occupational therapy that small-scale organic farming has to offer.
Following the ups and downs of growers pushing back against our broken food system, and to feed the whole of Monmouthshire on 1200 acres. Zoe and Rob feature with other farmers and landseekers during Spring/Summer 2023, it highlights the lack of value placed on food and the people who produce it, and the challenges that are only going to get worse with time - countered by the hope and determination of those who are prepared to get their hands dirty and turn things around, one acre at a time.
